-_-
spyware is a type of software that usually companies and sometimes individuals (with negative intentions in mind) use to keep track of things like the websites youve visited, the things you type, the ads/links you click on, etc.

that said,
be4 doing anything with your registry ALWAYS make a backup

for fixing reg errors, use Registry mechanic
u can get it from download.com
you can also find cracks for it

i tried a registry hack without a back up and was locked out of the registry
the gods grew tired of waiting
and woke me from a heavy sleep,
not by shaking my shoulder
but by breaking my heart.

try reg fix from the original volume of cd's given by microsoft when the computer was bought ..

when you start up boot from the disc itself if you'r computer does not ask for where to boot when you try to boot with cd press f 12 when in startup window and try the second option .. boot from cd/cdrw/dvd rw

then let the disc run ..
after the first blue screen it askes for you to format ntsf .. sth sth do not do that if you want to keep the existing files on your disc..
go to the third option of fixing the reg .. or reinstall(what ever according to the cd you have )

if you dont have it the too bad you'd better call microsoft and order for a new cd .. and you can go on ahead..

Absolutely! If you don't fix registry problems when they arise or try and prevent them from even happening at all, then you may soon find yourself faced with sudden crashes, system stalls, or a severe degradation in operating speed. Working to fix registry issues and prevent system crashes should be a top priority whether you use your computer for business or pleasure, and you'll find a greatly enhanced computing experience by doing so.

It is important to understand that trying to fix registry problems after they occur is always more difficult than preventing them in the first place, so prevention is always preferred over working to fix your registry after the fact. Regardless of how long you've owned your system or how it's used, there are many reasons why a Windows registry can become corrupted or littered with errors.

Some reasons why you may find that you need to fix registry issues include:

* you frequently install or uninstall programs
* you delete software that was never really fully "uninstalled"
* you have embedded Spyware or third party programs that revive themselves with each boot
* you have gone through a hardware install/uninstall
* you have unused but undeleted drivers on your system

Many of the "problems" are strings that are added in the registry when applications are started. After the application is no longer in use the string in the registry is seen as unnecessary and consequently a "problem".
This is no real problem - the string is generated again when the application is started - and then cleaned away as unnecessary again. When you run a scan immidiately after the first one, it will find some unnecessary strings "problems" related to the "problems" that were just "cleaned" and clean those too.
